Chief Financial Officer, Southeastern Freight Lines
Donald J. “Don” Krampe serves as Chief Financial Officer at Southeastern Freight Lines, bringing more than 28 years of experience in accounting, finance, and operations leadership. In his current role, Don oversees all Accounting, Finance, Revenue Accounting, and Family Office Services functions, leading a team of 108 professionals across the organization.
Prior to joining SEFL, Don spent 25 years at Accuride Corporation, a Tier 1 supplier of wheel and wheel-end components for the commercial truck and trailer industry. During his tenure, he held roles of increasing responsibility—from pricing and customs analyst to Global Corporate Controller—supporting a business with annual revenues between $1.2 and $1.4 billion. His experience spans M&A, cost accounting, SEC reporting, and FP&A, and includes a two-year cross-functional assignment as Director of Operations for a $32 million manufacturing acquisition.
Don joined Southeastern Freight Lines as CFO in 2021. He currently manages the company’s Accounting & Finance department (27 team members), Revenue Accounting group (76 team members), and Family Office Services (5 team members), which supports the company’s founding family with tax, estate, and personal financial planning.
Don holds a deep commitment to both his profession and his family. He and his wife Angie, a former neonatal nurse, have been married for over 25 years and live in Lexington, South Carolina.
