Craig Decker

Craig Decker is an experienced investment banker and private equity investor specializing in mergers and acquisitions in the transportation, logistics and supply chain sectors. Craig is currently a Managing Director and Head of Transportation & Logistics at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL), a privately held middle market investment bank. Prior to BGL Craig founded CMD Advisory LLC to provide corporate and strategic advisory to public and private companies as well as private equity groups. Craig has over 25 years of investment banking experience and has advised and financed over $50 billion of transactions in the trucking, e-Commerce / final mile, 3PL, rail, inland marine, energy logistics and supply chain technologies sectors. 

Craig was previously a Managing Director at Headhaul Capital Partners focusing on principal investing in lower middle market transportation companies. Prior to joining Headhaul, Craig founded and was Head of Investment Banking at Wolfe Capital Markets & Advisory (Wolfe), a specialized boutique investment banking practice focused on advisory to the transportation and logistics sector. 

Prior to founding Wolfe, Craig was Co-Head of Morgan Keegan & Company’s Transportation and Logistics investment banking group, and a founding Principal of Legacy Partners Group, a privately held investment bank focusing on M&A advisory. Craig began his investment banking career with the M&A group at Credit Suisse, later becoming a coverage officer in the Transportation & Logistics Group. 

Craig has served on the boards of various charitable organizations and was invited to serve as a member of The Energy Policy Advisory Group for the 2012 Romney for President Campaign due to his focus on alternative fuel use in the transportation sector. 

Craig received a BSA in Accounting from Villanova University and an MBA in Finance from The Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
