Managing Director & Head, Transportation and Logistics Investment Banking, Bengur Bryan
Ramon Suazo leads Bengur Bryan's Transportation and Logistics Investment Banking Group, bringing more than 25 years of senior advisory experience. Mr. Suazo’s career began at Lehman Brothers' Global M&A Division and has since encompassed leadership roles at HSBC Corporate Investment Banking and Markets — where he served as Head of Surface Transportation — as well as a founding role in the Transportation and Logistics Investment Banking Group at Stifel and served as a Managing Director at the Clarendon Group. Prior to his investment banking career, Mr. Suazo was a management consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton's Global Aerospace Group.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Suazo has completed more than 60 strategic and capital markets transactions representing in excess of $50 billion in aggregate enterprise value. Mr. Suazo’s transaction experience spans landmark deals across the sector, including Tyco's $9.2 billion acquisition of CIT, the $300 million going-private of U.S. Xpress Enterprises, ATSG's $330 million acquisition of CHI, and Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe's acquisition of Ozburn-Hessey Logistics.
Mr. Suazo holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA from Loyola University Maryland, where he served as President of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society..
