Gary Thomas, a 24 year veteran of the Kentucky State Police. Currently assigned to the Intelligence Branch as a Criminal Intelligence Analyst with the last 14 years being focused on Auto/Cargo Crimes. Analyst Thomas has been a part of several successful large scale cargo theft cases as well as a liaison for the public and private sector combatting cargo crimes.
Jonathan Eisen is Executive Director of the American Trucking Association’s Intermodal Motor Carriers Conference. The Conference represents the subset of ATA member companies who operate at the nation’s ports and inland intermodal facilities. As the Executive Director of the Conference, Eisen leads the advocacy efforts on issues of concern to these members such as supply chain, infrastructure, workplace and other issues critical to strengthening the connections between ports, highways and railroads. Jacqueline Gelb is the Vice President of Energy and Environmental Affairs at the American Trucking Associations, the nation’s leading organization representing the interests of the trucking industry.
In this role at ATA, Jacqueline oversees ATA’s efforts related to regulatory and legislative initiatives on emissions standards and other environmental issues.
Chris Torrence serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at Optym, Inc. Torrence possesses over 20 years of vast and equally diverse experience within the commercial logistics, transportation, and supply chain solutions industry. From the US military to industry-leading incumbents and hyper-growth start-ups, he has worn virtually every functional hat imaginable within the space. Alex Sciuto has had a varied work experience, starting with a role as a Digital Designer at Finn Partners in 2011. Alex then worked as a Designer at the Shanghai Repertory Theater in 2009. From 2010-2011, they held internships at Talking Points Memo as a Research Intern and at St. Louis Beacon as a Web and Media Intern. In 2011, they were a Program Assistant at Carleton College. From 2013-2015, they were a Masters Student in Interaction Design and a PHD Student in Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University.
