TJ Frye

Timothy Allen Frye Jr., more commonly known as TJ, graduated with a degree in Computer Information Systems from Western Carolina University. With almost a decade of experience in the IT industry, he opted to transition to his family business, where he had garnered experience in his early years of learning and working. Formerly known as FSI, Inc., TJ leveraged his expertise and knowledge both inside and outside of the industry to steer the company toward a new era of trucking, warehousing, and depot operations. This resulted in the expansion of the business's geographical footprint from local freight to regional and road, branching out into three additional markets.

In 2020, TJ played a pivotal role in the merger and acquisition that brought FSI, Inc. and Container Port Group together. This merger expanded ContainerPort Group's footprint in the southeast markets, resulting in the emergence of many new contractors, customers, and operational processes that TJ and his team dedicated years to nurturing. His unwavering commitment to the trucking and transportation industry earned him the esteemed position of Senior Vice President for Container Port Group, where he currently oversees the entire national trucking division. Throughout his 15+ years in the transportation industry, he has spearheaded numerous initiatives, including the successful launch of DrayPal - an in-house driver financial and dispatch application. Additionally, he has led the implementation of several operational initiatives, such as a new Transportation Management System (TMS) as well as a development of customer engagement tools. His core focus on innovation and relationship building defines his leadership style, continually challenging these areas to amplify and strategically grow the business to new heights.
