Executive Vice President, Ability Tri-Modal
Mike Kelso has been with Ability Tri-Modal Transportation Services in Long Beach, CA for over 40 years working in operations management and areas related to regulations, compliance, and sustainability - including moving toward fleet electrification. The company is based in California after all.
Currently, Ability Tri-Modal is working on a pilot project running two battery electric heavy-duty Class 8 eCascadia Freightliners that have been in service since July 2023 being used in our local drayage operation to the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. Ability also has in operation five electric yard tractors with some dating back to a 2018 start date.
